Cru Servers

This legendary duo from Glasgow has dropped this dense jam of weird blubber!

Tottum per Tutti is the new album of the Cru Servers, made exclusively for Radio Blackout. The idea came one day during the lockdown, we asked them, they replied with this unpublished material outtaken from their first official release!! (because it’s only love, if love you can give!)

At first listen it may seem strange, as if it were programmed electronic music from some geological era ago, bacteria bubbling into a disco cave.  Imagine driving back home after a drunky night think back of what you used to call electronic music: well this is exactly that thing!

Their debut, released for 12th Isle, was even more weird, greasy and gelatinous. This “Tottum per Tutti” instead is groovy, sounds like bacteria dancing on a step sequencer.

This incredible batch of limping grooves is dedicated to you, friends, supporter and musicians. We love you, fratelli!

Cru Servers did my head in” – JD Twitch (Optimo)’

Cru Server is a mysterious brotherhood from Glasgow. They have played acid electronics at Blackout Fest 2018, but first of all we can call them friends.

Their music can be described as a jam of strange samples and unstable rhythms poured into some gelatinous fat mass, probably composed of the same greasy stuff that our memories are made of.

An extravagant sonic experience that is presented here through these eerie and familiar tracks.

If their Blubber Tottum album, released for the 12th isle was a draoidh’s boiling heap of liquid electronics, this has the sour dough needed to drag you inside.

The inaugural LP drubbed from the Glaswegian machines of Cru Servers is perhaps best framed as what it would sound like if early life took its first steps out of the primordial gloop, dragged itself ashore” 12th Isle

Feel free to investigate the origin of early life forms as sprouted from this unusual electronaturalistic primordial unit
